Holy Trinity Church (South Street, HU17 5LR) was built on a site given by Sir Richard Bethel in 1843, some 1 1/4 miles away from the site of St Faith's Church.
Built of Yorkshire Gritstone with Westmoreland roofing slate, the church was built between 1843 & 1845 when it was consecrated, though the graveyard was not consecrated until later.
The church is a Grade II listed building and is host not only to the 13th century limestone baptismal font from St Faith's nave, but also the 'Wayside Cross Head', which is believed to be the original head of the White Cross, the base and shaft of which stands on the outskirts of the village.

The choir usually attends every service at Leven Church and is run by Maggie Mossford who is our organist and Choir-mistress.
We are constantly seeking new members, especially children aged 9 and over. There is no requirement to read music but a good singing voice would help and choir robes will be supplied.
Anyone interested in joining please contact Maggie on 01964 542 057 or come to a Sunday service.
